Ice Cream Thermobox – keeping ice cream cool on the move

It is challenge for outdoor events or buffets to store and transport delicious ice creams so they reach their destination looking impeccable AND in perfect quality. In particular, the temperature must remain constant, so the ice cream doesn't melt and, even more importantly, to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.

With the Thermobox Ice Cream Extra and Thermobox Ice Cream, thermohauser offers two specialised insulated boxes for transporting ice cream.

Thermobox Ice Cream Extra – more space for special creations

You have made some fabulous ice cream with a stunning topping to make it really eye-catching, but now the question is how to get your masterpiece safely to its destination in fresh condition, particularly if it is lovely summer weather outside. This is where the Thermobox Ice Cream Extra is the ideal choice – its extra high lid offers plenty of space for your ice cream creation, while the container's excellent insulating properties ensure perfect protection for the ice cream inside. The Thermobox Ice Cream Extra accommodates ice cream containers that are 36 by 16 centimetres or 36 by 25 centimetres in size. The border ridge ensures the containers sit securely in the box without resting on the bottom. This helps promote the circulation of cool air within the insulated box – you can also use standard cooling elements to keep the contents even colder. The thermometer in the lid of the box lets you easily check the temperature at any time.

The Thermobox Ice Cream Extra has the following dimensions:

  • external dimensions: approx. 63.5 cm x 42 cm x 45 cm
  • internal dimensions: approx. 56.5 cm x 34 cm x 36 cm
  • weight: approx. 2.3 kg
  • ideal for ice cream container sizes 36 cm x 16 cm or 36 cm x 25 cm
  • comes with an extra high lid

Classic transport for ice cream containers – Thermobox Ice Cream (standard)

Perhaps something smaller scale would work for you? Do you create delicious ice cream or frozen yogurt without fancy toppings? In which case, the standard version of the Thermobox Ice Cream is the perfect choice.
This insulated box also has impressive insulating properties, which can be further enhanced by using standard cold packs. The box is designed with fixed dividers to make it easier to put in the ice cream containers and to position the cold packs. The Thermobox Ice Cream accommodates ice cream containers that are 36 by 16 centimetres in size.

The following details apply for the Thermobox Ice Cream (standard):

  • external dimensions: approx. 59.5 cm x 39.5 cm x 26 cm
  • internal dimensions: approx. 57 cm x 36.5 cm x 20 cm
  • weight: approx. 1 kg
  • ideal for ice cream container sizes 36 cm x 16 cm
  • comes with a flat lid

Ice Cream Thermoboxes – exceptionally light but with excellent insulation

The Thermobox Ice Cream insulated boxes are manufactured from black expanded polypropylene (EPP). The material EPP is extremely light while still being highly durable and, of course, it is approved for use with food products. Practical recessed grips make the boxes easier to carry, particularly when full. After use, the insulated ice cream boxes can be cleaned quickly and easily, either under hot running water or in the dishwasher.
Thanks to their design characteristics, these boxes are perfect for use in the catering industry and for delivery services. The boxes have exceptional insulating properties and exhibit minimum temperature loss over several hours, which makes them suitable for use between temperatures of around -40°C to +120°C. Boxes of the same dimensions can be stacked on top of one another during transportation/storage.
